Morten Andenæs is a visual artist working with photography and text. The novel ‘Du, Jeg, og Erik’ is about the immediate days after a break up and the stories we tell ourselves to stay grounded.
The design reflects the protagonist’s need for a perfect and delicate facade, while also being vulnerable and naked. The lightness of the format, layout and font use contrasts the darkness and hopelessness of Erik, and the machined edge and embossed envelope conveys ephemerality.
The photographs under (that aren't of the book) are from Morten Andenæs' second book – a photo book featuring his work. Launch TBA.
